How Do You Insert a Point in a Curve?

To insert an edit point into a curve entity (line, polyline, curve, or combination):

1.   Select the Curve-Insert Point command.

2.   Position the cursor on the curve at the position where you want the new point added and click the left mouse button.

3.   Repeat step 2 as many times as you want. The Insert Point command will stay active or current until you select another command.

Note 1: If the edit point is inserted along a polyline segment of the curve, then the inserted point will be a knuckle ‘k’ point. If the edit point is inserted along a curve segment of the curve, then the inserted point will be a curve ‘c’ point.

Note 2: You can insert a point anywhere in any curve at any time. You do not have to pre-select the geometry before using this command.
